Window and Aluminium Companies in Dubai: Ranking

We studied 48 window companies in Dubai, and 25 of them earned a place in the ranking. Most describe themselves as aluminium and glass companies in Dubai, which is how the local trade refers to itself. The top 11 places go to companies with a complete data set, and the leader scores 7.9 out of 10. The score combines four measures: Google Maps reviews, price transparency, workmanship warranty and years in business.

Top aluminium and glass companies in Dubai: how the ranking works

Each company is compared only with others in Dubai, and market averages are calculated for Dubai alone. A company enters the ranking once at least 70% of the criteria weight has been verified. Prices and warranty terms are taken from the company's own website, and we keep the page URL and a quote on file.

Most of the companies we studied have "aluminium" or "glass" in their trading name. Alongside aluminium windows, they offer folding and sliding doors, glass rooms and partitions.

uPVC windows are a smaller niche in Dubai: only a few companies include uPVC in their name.

Window repair in Dubai

Window repair has its own specialists. Their price lists cover lock replacement, window sealing and child safety locks. One company on the list specialises in mosquito nets.

How are the four criteria weighted?

Reviews 38.9%, price transparency 22.2%, warranty 22.2%, years in business 16.7%.

Where do the reviews come from?

From Google Maps. We combine review counts and average the star ratings across all of a company's listings, found by name and by website domain. The average is smoothed, so a handful of five-star reviews cannot outrank hundreds of opinions.

How are prices scored?

Ten points go to a price list or calculator on a single page of the website, with at least five different prices for the main services and a note on what the price includes. Five points go to individual "from" prices or to a price list without that note.

Which warranty counts?

Only the standard free warranty on installation or repair work. Warranties on glass, coatings or profiles cover the product and are not counted. If an advertising banner contradicts the written terms, the written terms apply. The top of the scale is the 90th percentile of warranty periods on the Dubai market, currently 120 months, so a two-year warranty earns 2 points.

How is the founding year confirmed?

From the company's website: the page and the quote are stored with the score. A founding year that the company confirms directly to our editors counts the same way. Each year in business earns one point, up to a maximum of ten.

Why are replies to reviews not scored in Dubai?

When you are not signed in, Google Maps shows only some of the reviews and hides owner replies, so the share of negative reviews that received a reply cannot be verified. The weight of that criterion is spread proportionally across the other four.

How can a company correct its data?

Email proof to vseprooknaspb@gmail.com: a link to the source page or a copy of the trade licence. We will recalculate the ranking once it has been verified.
